             How are you latelyー？

    After Christmas I'll be living in Japan, so I'm really excited but nervous too

Also, I've started dieting seriously again,

I love dessert so it's totally hard...((((((ﾉﾟ⊿ﾟ)ﾉ

I love cooking so I made a really healthy brunch for myself today！

I made a strawberry salad dressed with apple vinargrette, seafood soup and an egg

It was so healthy and tasty！☆

Tomorrow morning I'm going on vacation from Detroit to Chicago actually！I'm going to try doing a photoshoot so please look forward to it

Hello, lovely♡

I hope your week is going well so far. Currently I'm preparing to move to Japan. I've talked a lot with my mother about the topic of "overcoming adversities" and getting past troubling times.

No matter your ethnicity, socioeconomic status or interests every person experiences challenges that may make us feel overwhelmed and trapped.

Discontentedness is as apart of the human experience as elation and being content. True satisfaction only comes after triumphing roadblocks.

The way you can face your fears is by "Just doing it". Go for your goal, and don't let fear paralyze you. You have great ideas, that may just need to be nurtured a bit more--so don't give up on them! 

Don't be afraid to walk off of the beaten path, because you know how to do it best. Keep your goal insight and keep fighting for it. Getting over a Goliath of a problem, is what makes us appreciate our success even more. 

Don't ever be paralyzed by failure, because you will get absolutely not where you want to be. Be possessed by the goal you see in sight, and keep pushing hard towards it.

We all have different roads to go, don't be afraid to fail because it helps you realize yourself

Remember to appreciate where you are now, because only then will you be able to propel.

 You're great and you deserve to be loved, you deserve attention and all of your dreams to come true. Overcome your negative thoughts, keep going because you're almost there... Always remember that life is like your canvas. It's up to you to paint it as vibrantly as your heart can conjure.

Cosmates Modeling Experience♡

Hello everyone♡

I've already made a post like this on my Japanese blog but I'm going to keep everyone updated. I know a lot of people were interested being a model for Cosmates so I wanted to share really what happened(萌´▽`)

A little background information is that Cosmates.jp has been operating since 2004 to sell authentic Japanese school uniforms, lolita and cosplay costumes to people in Japan and the West alike. The price range is affordable and they ship brands that non-Japanese would usually have to use a proxy seller for.|ω･｀)

They came to me on twitter, in mid-October asking if I was interested in being the promotional model for their Christmas sale! I eagerly accepted this oppurtunity. I had to pay and hire a professional photographer that I've used before, but since cosmates paid me, the cost of the photographer wasn't taxing at all.

The outfit I picked, was a really cute Santa Christmas costume! I had my eyes on that costume before they even approached me so it was a great coincidence. I ordered it in a Japanese Medium size, since I'm USA Extra Small-Small. 

It was really big on me unfortunately, especially in the chest area. So please keep that in mind if you want this outfit.

For the photos I had many clothes pins in it to keep it on, but in real life that's most likely not an option for you. I suggest the costume! It just runs a tad big ^^;

Cosmates has also, just announced their opening of a USA store in the new year! Please support their store, as shipping will most likely be a lot cheaper for Americans wanting to buy from them.

Overall, I would happily work with them again and I'm happy to have my first real modeling job.

Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical museum & Pizza(⑅´•⌔•`)*✲ﾟ

Hello★ Amina here! 

This is the first post of my English blog, and I intend on updating it simultaneously with my Japanese ameblog( Ameblo.jp/aminyanmoemagi )

I move to Japan in a litte less than two weeks, so please stick along my journey.

Today was really a great! I went with a few friends to Marvin's Mechanical Musuem which is like a local arcade as well as California Pizza Kitchen!

At CPK I ordered a Jamaican Jerk Chicken! It was delicious as always--I suggest it for anyone who goes there.

There were tons of Pinball tables at the arcade. A friend of mine loves pinball so we all played together. I haven't played pinball in a while, so that was really a treat. 

(I borrowed a friend's hat 😂)

While it was bittersweet to see so many beloved friends, it's going to be my last time seeing them for a while. On the other side however, in Tokyo I have many great friends and oppurtunities waiting for me.
